Job Description
As a Project Execution - Chief of Staff youwill be responsible for directing and managing large and / or complex projects across the JPMorgan Commercial Banking (CB) organization.
This position requires a strong self-starter who can proactively engage a virtual, cross organizational team without formal direction, and who has senior level interpersonal skills such as influence management, negotiation, and analytical/problem solving skills. You will help Product Managers from concept through implementation including initiation, epics, user stories, design, build, & test and support both Agile and hybrid methodologies. This will include coordinating resources across one or more projects, managing the budget for assigned project(s), monitoring project progress (risks & issues), adjusting resources and priorities accordingly, preparing and presenting progress reports for management, collecting, documenting and archiving all required development artifacts, & ensuring technologies are integrated properly to support Caliber.
Job Responsibilities

  • You are Program and Stakeholder Manager
  • Managing Scrums and Project Managers on the team
  • Managing all financials metrics and reporting up to senior leadership
  • Creates project plans and track to key milestone dates associated with targeted implementation window
  • Managing projects through the entire Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) using AGILE project processes and tools
  • Managing project risks, issues, actions/deliverables
  • Creates an environment of collaboration within the teams that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts
  • Champions continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and increase productivity; coaches teams to conduct continuous improvement events
  • Seeks opportunities for improvement to the overall effectiveness of teams and the organization
  • Communicates organizational impediments to leadership; clears impediments for the team; Manage project communications & status reporting (e.g. project performance metrics/KPIs)
  • Embraces the concept of continuous learning in your own journey and instills the same in the team(s) you coach
  • Partner with the Business to identify operational risks and ensure overall operational readiness prior to launch; develop operational readiness playbook and facilitate Go/No Go meetings upon completing of testing
  • Collect and store all required compliance artifacts for the project across the project life cycle.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent work experience and minimum 3+ years of experience in information technology and/or Business Operations
  • Working knowledge of Commercial Banking, IT and its supporting Lines of Businesses strongly preferred
  • Ability to coach, mentor, collaborate and resolve conflict & facilitate decision-making
  • Ability to develop and manage a project budget

  • Sound understanding of Scaling framework such as LeSSExtensive experience establishing and managing to project plans and key milestone dates
  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies, functions and industries
  • Experience with AGILE and hybrid software development methodologies
  • Experience managing resources that are geographically distributed and culturally diverse.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to present in senior management meetings
  • Proven ability to make complex decisions based on experience, analysis and judgment.
  • Flexible, process-oriented, organized, with excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills
  • Formal project management training and PMP Certification and Agile Certification is preferred
  • Proficient in JIRA and Confluence collaborative tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Microsoft Project is a Plus
