What you will do

Manage large projects or multiple smaller projects. Including the project budget, schedule, and all governance items. This role typically manages projects aligned with the Global Products functions area of our business.
You will own all aspect of assigned projects. This role will be responsible for directing the project teams in support of their assigned roles and responsibilities. This is accomplished by working collaboratively to define and resource the correct roles to deliver specified goals on assigned projects. As a project manager you will monitor and report on the overall status of the project(s). The project manager guides and mentors their project teams and others in the overall organization in the use of the EPMO methodology, best practices, and tools.

How you will do it

Responsible for managing the overall planning, execution, and delivery of projects, including:

  • Directing work/projects, controlling cost/schedule elements, management of resources, communications management, reporting, and change management.
  • Responsible for financial planning and controls related to assigned projects.
  • Delivering projects on schedule, budget, and per the specification.
  • Lead the teams in developing Requests for Proposals (RFP) for external services.
  • Support the vendor selection and management process (scope, plan, and milestone definition, operational issues, deliverable & milestone approval, quality control, etc.).
  • Manage vendor administration (SOW activation, invoice approval).
  • Initiating, planning, executing, and closing all project deliverables as committed.
  • Responsible for full life-cycle of projects from initiation to completion.
  • Establish, maintain, and explain the project methodology, procedures, and policies, consistently within the Enterprise PMO rules and guidelines.
  • Drive project planning and control from an operational point of view (activity, milestones, and resource planning), with a special focus on core activities and global plan consolidation.
  • Apply relevant project standards to build project management frameworks for all assigned projects.
  • Monitor the progress of project components to ensure the overall goals, schedules, budget, and benefits will be achieved.
  • Ensure that projects are organized and executed in a consistent manner.
  • Fully responsible for project delivery and success.


What we look for

Required

  • Bachelor's degree required; Advance degree in IT related field or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ Years Project Management experience in a large multi-unit global organization required.
  • 3+ years supervisory experience overseeing projects and global teams.
  • Project Management Accreditation (APMP, PMI or equivalent) -preferred.
  • Project management skills in complex IS and business environments, including ability to coordinate multiple teams in various locations and time zones.
  • Deep project management experience managing large-scale, global implementations.
  • Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools.
  • Passion for leading teams and implementing change.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong negotiation and team-building skills with the ability to create consensus around decisions and mitigate conflicts among different teams.
  • High communication skills required at all levels. Must be able to interact with senior leadership. Excellent command of verbal and written communication (English). Effective presentation style for all levels of stakeholders.
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, issue analysis and resolution skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with internal clients.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced multicultural global work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities with internal clients.
  • Ability to gather and address both business and technical requirements. Must be highly motivated.

Preferred
Experience with supply chain, finance, ERP's highly recommended.
