The Sr. Manager of Global Security Program Management Office (PMO) will report to the Global Security Chief of Staff and Director of PMO. You will be responsible for building out, managing, and leading a team focused on global delivery of security projects and programs. You will lead a team of project managers to deliver technical solutions and security-focused operational programs for Micron on the front line of the semiconductor industry.
This is a build, then run position. The successful candidate will optimize the processes and tools for the Global Security program management office (PMO) and successfully lead the team in portfolio delivery.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Lead a team of technical program and project managers in the delivery of the Global Security project portfolio
- Align with key collaborators to assess the organizational needs of the PMO. Optimize the PMO framework and implement consistent processes, training, and reporting
- Establish PMO objectives, assist with aligning roles and responsibilities, and provide line of sight to project delivery and program execution
- Handle the assignment of work and monitor projects from inception through delivery. Develop metrics and reporting to measure team and PMO delivery
- Partner with leaders across global security and other IT functions on the delivery of projects according to schedule, cost, and scope of work
- Develop a hard-working team. Build team capability and capacity through training, hiring, and leadership.
- Support, mentor, and guide team members in alignment to best-practice principles of project management
- Work with the project managers and key customers on partner concerns and to resolve issues
- Support the project intake process. Develop demand forecast and resource planning capabilities and work across global security teams to plan and prioritize project activities
- Question the status quo and find opportunities for continuous improvement to increase project delivery timelines and efficiency
- Lead with Vitality - Bias to action. Prioritize objectives, remove barriers, and drive for accountability.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Business Management, or equivalent work experience
- Senior-level experience leading large-scale project and program delivery in a technical environment
- Prior experience leading a program management office and project management teams
- Background in process improvement and organizational management
- Ability to connect with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility, and influence.
- Outstanding influence skills to effectively drive program / project efforts. Ability to quickly put structure in place and drive adoption
- Outstanding organization, coordination, and leadership skills - ability to partner and find common points of agreement with collaborators

- Minimal travel as needed.
- 10+ years' experience in Information Technology. 5+ years in program/project management
- PMP, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma or other industry recognized certifications preferred
