Your Opportunity
Schwab & Co. is adding a new Sr. Program Manager, IT Organizational Change role in the IT organization reporting to the leader of Schwab's Enterprise Architecture Practices team. Schwab's Enterprise Architecture capability is transforming Schwab's IT organization and operations.

Enterprise Architecture is a best practice discipline for ensuring Schwab can effectively navigate change.
The Practices team is responsible for developing, enhancing, and implementing the processes and related artifacts associated with the enterprise architecture operating model. You will partner with business process specialists, practice experts, and leaders across the company to coordinate the actions necessary to effectively integrate enterprise architecture into related processes enterprise-wide. It's really about implementing new ways of working together. You will leverage your skills and experience to find the best way to introduce and foster adoption of new practices. This will involve determining the best way to communicate changes and leverage Schwab's various tools and technologies to make change happen. You will often find yourself holding meetings, crafting communications and training content, analyzing and presenting information and performing related tasks.

Other activities the Organizational Change Manager will be involved in include:

  • Managing and influencing the way people work together
  • Coaching senior leaders to act as change sponsors.
  • Monitoring progress of change plans, collecting feedback, evaluating results and adjusting plans as needed
  • Applying knowledge of organizational change best practices

What you are good at

  • Seeing the big picture and understanding practice objectives.
  • Supporting change management efforts related to cross-functional, enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Advocating change management strategies that help guide and support people through the change process, including impact analysis, readiness assessment, and sponsor roadmaps.
  • Driving the design, development, delivery and management of change communications and training.
  • Owning change coordination activities, status reporting, roadmap planning, and additional change infrastructure elements that help motivate change consistency.
  • Cultivating relationships with project team members, partners, and leaders to implement change plans, resolve issues, and handle resistance.
  • Developing important relationships with various partners across the enterprise to achieve common goals



What you have

  • 10+ years' experience as a change management specialist
  • Significant experience in a dedicated organizational change management or consulting role with track record of success
  • Strong business sense and ability to align change management process to business needs
  • Ability to influence leadership and engage employee support and engagement
  • Skilled at taking a consultative and collaborative approach to problem solving
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Experience working in financial services industry IT is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or equivalent experience

Colorado Compensation Target Total Compensation - $121,000 - $201,600 per yearYour actual pay will be based on your skills and experience -- talk with your recruiter to learn more
