Our Opportunity:

The primary focus of the Sr. PMO Finance Transformation Manager in Dania Beach, FL will be to support the Finance Transformation Organization and oversee the development and completion of business projects. As a PMO manager, your duties include ensuring that business standards are upheld, directing the organization and scheduling of projects, and overseeing members of project teams to keep them on task. Stakeholder management and bringing the organization along is critical for the success of this role. As a member of the Finance Transformation Organization, the PMO will serve a key role in transformation across the organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Live and exemplify the Chewy Operating Principles
  • Work can be non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical and/or business skills
  • Engage with the accounting & finance organization to define the future state of business processes through quantitative analysis and review of current processes. Identify wasteful/inefficient points in the process and engage with impacted parties to determine future state
  • Identify leading practices and drive adoption, optimized system utilization and continuous process improvement outcomes
  • Ability to learn on the fly and address key stakeholder needs, manage reporting needs to all key stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage numerous projects at a given time in a fast-paced environment
  • Aid in the reporting and financial performance management frameworks for the business and help define key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate overall business performance
  • Partner with team members and functional leaders in monthly forecast cycles to identify planning assumptions for key business drivers
  • Lead change and improvement outcomes, including; financial and operational outcomes
  • Actively participate in the strategic planning, target setting, and annual planning processes

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or Supply Chain is required
  • 5+ years of finance, accounting experience is required
  • 3+ years of PMO experience is required
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance Transformation is preferred
  • Follow change management processes to capture change requests, communicate impact, request stakeholder decisions, and execute changes if applicable
  • E-Commerce background is preferred
  • Oracle Fusion experience is preferred
  • Key qualities include leadership, the ability to direct a project with many different parts, and strong written and verbal communication.
  • Structured and target-oriented working style, assertiveness with clear focus on process improvement is required
  • Understanding of various support center functions and their impact to the business is preferred
  • Project timelines and work volume / deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables
  • Environment where pets are present
  • Position may require travel
