Summary:
Do you obsess over customer communications and solving sophisticated business problems and leading efforts that advance capabilities in support of the company's business strategy? We are seeking an exceptional Senior Project Manager in Digital Product - Client Communications where you will work on a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, designers and experts in an agile methodology to advance our digital communication presence with our policy holders. You will lead the execution of either individual large, complex, cross-functional projects or multiple small-to- medium-sized, moderately sophisticated projects, providing project management expertise in accordance with Company-approved methodologies.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in defining and managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk mitigation, and implementation strategies. Assign, lead and supervise complex resources as priorities and objectives necessitate, to achieve key breakthroughs and accomplish efficient project results. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques that are aligned with Company approved methodologies and tool sets to help with the successful completion of short and long-term goals.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Experience in sitting at the table and working with various technical teams- developers, engineers, testers and business analysts
  • Three or more years of project management experience in technology and/or business functions. Experience with project management methodologies or SDLC (systems development life cycle)
  • Experience with project management methodologies & SDLC. Solid understanding of project management / agile tooling
  • Understands how software is developed, tested and implemented as well as technical concepts.
  • Ability to work closely with engineers, product managers and business leaders.
  • Experience handling large scale, cross-functional initiatives using a variety of delivery methodologies (i.e. waterfall, agile, lean, scrum, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a desire to dig into details, learn, ask questions and become the "go to expert" on certain concepts and topics.
  • Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new point of view on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Impacts the direction and resource allocation for program, project or services; works within general department policies and industry guidelines
  • Explains information, conveys performance expectations and handles critical issues
