We are seeking a versatile Sr. Business Project Manager to facilitate and drive the planning, execution, and delivery of moderately sophisticated Teammate Tool Effortless Strategy efforts, intended to accomplish business goals and objectives within prescribed timeframes and budgets. Demonstrates an advanced understanding of how activities contribute to the achievement of strategic business goals and operational objectives. Collaborates with key partners, vendors, and project/program teams to identify mutually beneficial outcomes for contending priorities and negotiate timelines to ensure objectives are met. The candidate will manage and implement strategic projects with direct visibility for the PayPal Global OPS Leadership team.

The Sr. Business Project Manager 4 will:

  • Drive implementation of medium to highly complex work efforts, working closely with cross-functional teams and resources to achieve multiple program and project milestones within established timeframes.
  • Work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels across GCO to understand pain points and business needs that drive unnecessary friction and inefficiency
  • Drive strategic initiatives from ideation to execution through effective collaboration and partnership across the company including but not limited to Operations Leadership, Product Development, Training, Analytics/ Insights, WFM.
  • Develop Ops Readiness plan and drive the execution of tools to PayPal adjacencies with minimal churns to servicing
  • Lead a team of change agents through all elements of a transformation: diagnosis of potential opportunity; design of new ways of working; planning and execution of tools rollout to Operations.
  • Leads, works independently, negotiates with and influences other managers and directors to obtain consensus and stakeholder support
  • Play a strategic role in aligning and influencing roadmaps to meet program financial targets
  • Translate business requirements into non-technical terms
  • Handle scheduling and management of project workstream calls (alignment between business partners within CS)
  • Generate customer focused ideas; forms and relates ideas to create high quality solutions and concepts related to future state tool suite
  • Identify and apply best practices and needed process improvements; drives adoption and challenges standards.
  • Be responsible for the development and application of best practice to drive continuous improvement and reengineering in the area of process, policy, product and organizational change that meets or exceeds our customer's expectations focused on Teammate tool migrations and enhances
  • Document and communicate the results of your efforts and effectively communicate insights and recommendations to a cross-functional team
  • Assess and support for Teammate tool learning and material support associated with feedback loop
  • Project manage workstreams efforts related to CS migration needs
  • Measure and monitor critical path success metrics (KPI assessment)
  • Be a change management agent; supporting communication, SharePoint sites, Survey build, feedback loop etc.
  • Champion the voice of the customer. Fully leverages data from CS, Business, Community and external research to drive business requirement decisions
  • Ensure consistent visibility for teams by monitoring and reporting business objectives, work efforts achievements, and key indicators.


Candidate Profile:

  • Ability to work effectively in an environment which is at times undefined and ambiguous.
  • Must display a high level of professional judgment, commitment, integrity, teamwork, and customer service
  • PMP certified project manager with experience in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Analytical thinker and creative problem solver with analytical approach to developing strategic and operational plans.
  • Possess strong presentation and documentation skills. Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel, Tableau,
  • Experience in Excel, MS project, Visio, and designing executive level PPT decks
  • Strong business and technical insight, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate ideas and challenges across a broad audience
  • Passionate about enhancing tools experience for the users and developing clear and sustainable processes
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence teams
  • Self-starter with strong drive to deliver excellent results in a collaborative manner, passionate about making a difference
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude, even when facing adversity and challenges that seem difficult to overcome
  • Strong communication skills on all levels, cultural awareness
  • Leadership skills and ability to motivate large cross-functional internal/external teams
  • Ability to present to leadership at the holistic level and be able to answer questions in detail if required
  • Experience of creating, thinking up of or rolling out Work from home or more flexible working models a plus
  • Experienced in dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Be the calm in the storm
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative problem-solving skills and process design
  • Experience in change management
  • Strong background in driving results working with cross vertical teams
  • Ability to work with a global team (varied time zones)


Education

  • Minimum of BA/BS degree (Business Management, Technology or similar) with excellent results - internal candidates with strong track record will be considered even though formal requirement may not be met
  • 8+ years professional related experience (including 5+ years project management and large-scale deployment/ transformation experience)
  • Project/Process Management Qualification desired but not mandatory if candidate has proven track record of strong project management capabilities
  • Minimum of 4-5 years relevant experience in a fast-paced customer service or CRM environment (Sales Force experience preferred)
