Position Summary
The Specialist Project Manager has the keen ability to understand a strategic vision and help carry the project through to a successful, on-time launch. This person specifically plans, organizes, and manages digital agile workflow for a variety of NPPC brands for a consumer business unit. Strong interpersonal and detail-oriented skills are critical to this position as the Specialist Project Manager will be the "engine" that enables the creative team to produce content that performs, faster. The Specialist Project Manager will be a critical point of contact for a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders and partners when it comes to all things related to content production.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project management and project initiation through written and oral presentation
  • Competitive reports and summaries including some level of digital and social auditing and analysis
  • Identify and pro-actively develop opportunities for added agency involvement in client business
  • Ability to work and manage projects across disciplines: Promotions, Traditional, Digital, PR, Ecommerce
  • Manages project timelines to ensure timely and accurate project completion
  • Collaborate with Account and Strategy Team Members to translate performance learnings to actionable creative optimization
  • Ensures the integrity and quality of project deliverables by implementing an effective product change review process with regulatory and centers of excellence teams.
  • Possess knowledge of all aspects of digital content production, including but not limited to having an eye for strategic creative work, staying on top of industry technologies and trends, and be able to cultivate relationships with partners.
  • Acts as a key liaison between agency and internal NPPC resources, as well as external development team partners. Participate in technical discussions and able to lead conversations with developers regarding HTML, CSS, and general web development principles.



Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Communications field
  • 5+ years of project management experience is required
  • 5+ years of Marketing industry experience is required
  • 2+ years of experience in the Pet Food Industry is required
  • 2+ years of experience in creating and implementing talent and assets usage tracking documents is required
