About the role:
As a Purchasing Project Specialist, you will be responsible for taking ownership of Procurement initiatives such as asset or contract management. You will be challenged with identifying opportunities for cost reduction and driving process improvements, leveraging tools like Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

What you'll be doing:

• Take ownership of assigned Procurement projects such as inventory and asset management, contract / renewal management, supplier management, and satellite office moves and expansion
• Serve as central point of contact for areas of responsibility, ensuring alignment with other departments and stakeholders
• Understand, maintain, and implement (as necessary) Procurement processes / systems.
• Analyze data, identify and addresses potential issues, seek opportunities for cost savings and improvements
• Create reports and presentations using data for review by Senior and Executive leadership
• Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring timely execution and delivery

What you need:

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Information Systems or related field
• 1-3 years of related experience strongly preferred
• Exceptional organizational skills, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic, attention to detail
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with a variety of disciplines and diverse groups of people
• Moderate Microsoft Excel proficiency including analyzing and summarizing data
• Familiarity with ERP, Power BI and procurement systems is a plus
