What's Clyde - Clyde is an end-to-end product protection platform that is re-thinking the way retailers increase loyalty and drive revenue, and the way customers manage their purchases. We are tackling the $50B per year extended warranty market and becoming the de facto solution in the space by leveraging an intense focus on product, design, and customer experience. Clyde delivers product protection plans directly to consumers as they shop, owning the relationship from purchase to claim submission to resolution. We know that the relationship between retailers and their customers is far from over after checkout, so we’re building products to deliver value at every stage of this relationship.

As a Solutions Engineer at Clyde, you will drive Clyde’s future growth engine by partnering with the sales, solutions, and operations teams to design, deliver, and grow merchant programs. In this position, you will work directly with our mid-market merchants, helping to tailor Clyde’s offering to meet the needs of their business and customers by crafting how they take their program to market, both functionally and operationally.

An opportunity to...

• Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain our company’s products to merchants.
• Research, develop and modify Clyde’s product offerings to meet merchants’ technical requirements and needs.
• Identifying areas of improvement and communicating these issues as possible solutions to merchant leadership/executive teams.
• Own the end-to-end process of all presales technical support requirements to support our mid-market Account Executives.
• Lead the planning and design of end-to-end Clyde Merchant Implementations from an operational and business process design standpoint.
• Work with other Clyde team members and clients on executing the setup and configuration of Clyde according to the specification by Clyde and the client. If necessary, work with Clyde’s technical team to coordinate the development and testing of any applicable custom solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of client facing experience in one or more of the following spaces (A blend is okay!):
  • Business and/or Process Consulting
  • Software implementation or Management Consulting (Requirements Analysis or Business Process Design)
  • Business Analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or related field.
• Proven ability to understand and transfer business processes into defined software solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and comprehension skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of customer and internal personnel
• Tactical, creative, solutions-oriented thinker
