Job Description Summary:
Remote: This position does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis. This position does require an employee to be onsite 1-4 x per year for collaboration.

The Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) team supports the definition, design, and development of continuously improving mobility services. SDV is a new vehicle intelligence platform that will underpin all our future innovations across a wide range of technological advancements, including EVs and expanded automated driving. This means that you can potentially put a fingerprint on the vehicles that drive down the road!
Our growing User Interface (UI) team within SDV, is seeking a passionate and versatile Program Manager. You are part of a User Experience team that creates experiences that touch millions of users across multiple vehicle brands and digital platforms. Your ability to lead others and multiple initiatives simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment - with changing priorities and schedules - will be crucial to our team's success and our customers' satisfaction.

Additional Description
Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills Strong analysis, problem-solving, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
  • Solid understanding and experience in using Agile and traditional project management tools along with all Microsoft Office software Demonstrated critical thinking skills in risk/opportunity management Proven capability to set clear expectations and manage team performance
  • Effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
  • Superb written and verbal communications skills with experience interacting with all management levels including executive level
  • Understanding of software development technology and the product development lifecycle Automotive experience a plus but not required


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology, Communications or other related subject area required
  • 3+ years of experience as a program manager in design, software engineering, or business environment required
  • Prior experience with SAFe / Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with the UI design process and software development lifecycle


Preferred Qualification:

  • Master's degree
  • 6+ years of experience as a program manager in design, software engineering, or business environment required
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified SAFe Agilist (Scaled Agile), Project Management Professional (PMP), or another Project Management Institute (PMI) certification preferred
