Job Description:
ECS is currently looking for an experienced SME Program Manager to join our team to support the Medical Materiel Enterprise Standardization Office (MMESO). The MMESO effort is the DoD's enterprise-wide program for clinically driven, logistically supported, medical materiel standardization. The goal of the MMESO is to support the Military Health System's (MHS) enterprise objective of implementing an integrated, collaborative process for medical materiel standardization that combines operational and institutional requirements for the purpose of improving clinical outcomes, enhancing readiness and training, controlling costs, and improving interoperability.
As SME Program Manager, you will have a key role in providing leadership and program management oversight of MMESO Contract team along with being the key liaison with the MMESO Government team.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the liaison between the Contractor Team Arrangements (CTA) and the MMESOs.
- Serve as a liaison with the Government administrative group. This will ensure full and open lines of communication between all parties responsible for performance of work as required under the terms of the contract.
- Provide a managerial framework that will employ uniform and common business processes, procedures, and the standardization of repetitive use documents in support of the MMESO effort to include report formats and submission.
- Take action to ensure continuity of business practices if Key Personnel are changed during the entire MMESO standardization support effort.
- Present briefings related to the contract to the Government administrative group and other parties as required by the DHA MEDLOG Division.
- Provide program management, project control, and contract administration necessary to manage a high-visibility, multi-task effort involving professional, geographically dispersed vendor personnel.
- Ensure quality control supervision to assure accuracy and fidelity of all deliverables; will ensure dedicated resources are available to meet schedule and quality standards of each task/deliverable, in accordance with contract terms as specified in the PWS.
Required Skills:
- Must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, Management or other related scientific or technical discipline is required.
- 5-years of experience in Program Management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrating the ability to present material to the DHA MEDLOG Division and other Government officials as required.
- Experience in progressive Healthcare Information Management Systems (with an emphasis in supply chain management) including experience with medical standardization and healthcare systems.
- Understand the MHS Programs as it relates to Operational and Institutional medical materiel requirements.
- Advanced understanding of medical materiel and equipment standardization and medical treatment environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrating the ability to present material to the DHA MEDLOG Division and other Government officials as required.
Desired Skills:
- Experience supervising substantial MHS Programs that encompass data collection, analysis, network systems migration, integration, activation, and training in diverse operating environments with people of diverse job categories and job skills is highly desirable.
