Today, from the moment you connect to the internet, most websites focus on learning everything they can about you. In Web 3, the moment you share an Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, or Tezos wallet address with anyone, you expose your entire on-chain transaction history to the world.

To us, this is crazy. We should have complete agency and control over what stories we share and how we share them. We believe the same should be true on the internet. This is why we are stewarding the development of Tari, a default-private digital asset protocol. 

Tari is unique with a highly intentional design. Our mission is to make it easy for developers to create and deploy Web 3 interoperable, highly scalable, and secure applications without spending months on audits.

In addition to stewarding the development of this new protocol, we are building the first application that will use it. This app is Yat, a new censorship-resistant internet identity system that enables everyone to use a personalized string of emojis as their universal username. 

Why emojis? Over 90% of online users on Earth use emojis every single day. They are genuinely our global language. We use them to tell stories and connect with others in a beautifully simple way. Yats create a system that allows people to own a single emoji or string of emojis that best represents them. Yats are owned by whoever creates them and are an internet freedom product. Imagine a world where we all own self-sovereign emoji identities that are self-directed, deeply censorship-resistant, and cannot be canceled.

What if instead of johnsmith535, someone could be 🔥🐉 or 👑 🎳(kingpin) or 🦄🤖💃? They could use this unique emoji username to do the same things as a standard username, like sending or receiving money, chatting with friends, or creating a website. This would change how we connect. Instead of one-dimensional email addresses, usernames, or phone numbers that say nothing about us, we could express ourselves in truly remarkable ways. The possibilities are endless.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Collaborate with diverse teams to develop, organize, and execute cross-functional plans for delivering tools/systems integrations that drive growth.
• Strategically and tactfully communicate deliverables, red flags, and accountability for next steps with thoughtful timelines to internal and external stakeholders while assertively holding all parties accountable to strategic goals.
• Work with our Head of Engineering and Product to coordinate the technical development effort, track/drive the project, and manage the operational implementation process.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management and make tradeoffs; encourage innovative risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit; identify interdependencies between concurrent projects to prevent downstream problems.
• Discover the valid requirements underlying feature requests; recommend alternative technical approaches; work with engineering and product leadership to determine the level of effort and meet aggressive timelines.
• Roadmap and prioritize with Product teams and stakeholders to determine strategic priority projects.
• Assess incoming feature requests and work with engineering teams to determine the level of effort.
• Own progress tracking and reporting on all workstreams. Facilitate meetings and effectively communicate project expectations and deadlines to team members and stakeholders.
• Set and manage expectations around work that is required to launch and maintain key revenue programs through exceptional communication, kick-off meetings, and consistent on-time deliverables
• Act as Scrum Master/Agile Coach for teams

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience leading large, cross-functional technical projects in project management and/or senior lead role 
• Experience with cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and digital assets.
• Demonstrate maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, leadership skills essential to successful program/project management
• Possess a thorough understanding of software feature processes (development, configuration, testing, and deployment)
• Proven track record of developing and refining process
• Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods, and techniques
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting teamwork
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and expertise in establishing guidelines
• Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising team members
• Experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, and Waterfall
• Competent with various software tools, including G-Suite, Jira
• Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles to have carried out successful project recovery of failing projects.
