Joining Collibra's Excellence Enablement Team:

  • The Excellence Enablement team leads program, project and release management throughout the Product and Engineering Organization.
  • We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master to drive & coordinate projects in Product and Engineering in collaboration with our Program Managers. These projects can range from software development, process improvements/rollouts, release coordination to cross-team change management .
  • You will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Project Management, working directly with the Product and Engineering Leads, and collaborating with your peer Project & Program Managers in Excellence Enablement.
  • One of Collibra’s core values is ‘Embrace and Drive Change’, which is a core responsibility of Excellence Enablement with the Product & Engineering organization.

Technical Project Manager / Scrum Masters at Collibra are Responsible For:

  • Serving as the scrum master for multiple teams. Own and facilitate Agile ceremonies using standard methodologies, but flexible to balance teams’ optimal style of working.
  • Providing coaching on Scrum and other Agile frameworks, enabling teams to self-organize and focus on continuous improvement.
  • Utilizing traditional project management approaches where appropriate, to improve identifying dependencies, accomplishments, and reporting.
  • Report progress to Program Managers, and Product & Engineering leadership.
  • Contribute within the Excellence Enablement team on the shared tools, documentation and processes.
  • Support the Release management process and cross-organization enablement initiatives.

You Have:

  • 2+ Years Experience as a Project Manager and Scrum Master in software development.
  • Experience in working in a multi-language, multi-time zone environment.
  • Ability Communicate fluently in English, written and spoken.

You Are:

  • A team player and have excellent people management skills, including the ability to influence, negotiate and achieve results through others who are not direct reports.
  • A relationship builder across the organization who ensures that the right processes, metrics, and insights are in place.
  • Open to feedback and willing to learn, but not afraid to take initiative or try a new approach.

Technical Project Manager's measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will facilitate scrum ceremonies for 1-2 teams.
  • Within your third month, you will understand some areas for improvement within your teams and help to drive changes to implement those improvements. 
  • Within your sixth month, you will be supporting a total of 3-4 teams with the goal of maturing those teams to be fully self-sufficient so you can off-board scrum duties to team members and provide “light” support.
