Description and Requirements
Lenovo Workstations provide powerful solutions to drive productivity, innovation, and design excellence in key vertical segments such as Manufacturing Design, Engineering & CAD, Animation/Media/Web Creation, Science/Medical, Oil & Gas, and Finance.
To maintain our leadership and compete in this aggressive marketplace, we are seeking to enhance our team with a Software Technical Project Manager. Some responsibilities of this position will include:
  • Working with our Software and Solutions team, Marketing team, and customers to capture and prioritize tasks and requirements
  • Working with our architects and engineers to create and track software development schedules and milestones
  • Developing tasks lists, statements of work, and other documentation to properly track the team's progress
  • Working with our Solutions technologists to track and provide updates on various product investigations and studies
  • Coordinating with external teams on items such as test resources or facilitating issue resolution
  • Reporting of status in weekly management and other team meetings

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level of education
  • Minimum of 5+ years project management experience
  • PMP or other equivalent project management certification
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Results oriented in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive professional attitude with flexibility

Preferred Requirements:
  • Prior work in the computer/IT industry
  • Good understanding of software development processes and/or code development
  • Experience/training in use of Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and other project management tools
