Position Overview

The AutoCAD team is looking for a Senior Program Manager to drive the development, and release of the AutoCAD Web and Mobile products. You will be working with cross-functional teams to drive strategic planning, development execution and quality releases. You will also lead specialized development teams working on high priority cross-platform projects. These projects require working across organizations with multiple stakeholders. It requires being adaptable, responsive, and having the spirit to lead and succeed in an open collaborative peer environment. Your charter is to ensure alignment, coordinate development efforts, and drive the achievement and success of business goals. We are looking for someone who has experience working with technical teams, knows Agile methodologies, has solid business acumen, and can partner with multiple disciplines including product managers, designers, software engineering, quality assurance teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work with executives and stakeholders to shape program strategy and requirements
  • Drive alignment between teams, functions, and stakeholders
  • Organize and lead cross-functional development teams. Plan and ensure product and project delivery goals are met
  • Manage dependencies across multiple teams, scrum teams, functions, divisions, and stakeholders
  • Drive risk identification, analysis and mitigation to address potential roadblocks - escalate as appropriate
  • Ensure accountability within project teams
  • Serve as communication focal point on complex programs and maintain effective communication channels
  • Provide visibility to program status (issues, risks, metrics, etc.) on an ongoing basis to all stakeholders, team members, and interested parties
  • Create a collaborative environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and learning
  • Be an agent of change. Drive relentless improvement



Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of project, program management in the software industry
  • 5+ years of experience program managing large scale software projects
  • Extensive experience working directly with software engineering teams on highly complex initiatives involving multiple teams
  • Relevant experience managing complex software system and dependencies
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and change management skills
  • Possess strong technical expertise and business acumen
  • Superb verbal and written communications skills
  • Proactive problem solving and independent thinking with a history of hands-on detail orientation
  • Understand Agile processes in software development
  • BA/BS, preferably in business, computer science and/or related fields



The Ideal Candidate

  • Familiarity working in a CAD environment
  • MBA or MA/MS in a related field
