About the Role

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for key strategy initiatives that span many cross-functional teams. This includes partnering with a diverse set of stakeholders to build technical project plans, running weekly checkpoint meetings with senior leadership, creating visibility for the executive team, and ultimately driving success for Route’s most significant investments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple complex initiatives in parallel
  • Build project charters and plans; help cross-functional teams in sequencing work to optimize time and resources
  • Leverage creative problem-solving to identify and mitigate risks
  • Articulate updates, risks, and next steps to a wide audience; communicate program health and status to an executive-level stakeholders
  • Form lightweight processes that will enable Route to move faster and more efficiently across teams and departments

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in technical program management
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical experience at an e-commerce or internet software company
  • Significant experience driving cross-functional collaboration between product, engineering, sales, and customer success
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle with a track record of delivering timely, high-quality solutions across several engineering teams
  • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions with a diverse, cross-functional audience
  • Stellar business acumen, communication skills, and presentation experience
  • Strong customer-focused mentality 

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification or similar credentials
  • Domain knowledge in security and compliance
  • Experience driving internationalization projects
