Description:
The Senior Program Manager will report to a Director of the Information Technology (IT) as a Program Manager. This manager is responsible for delivering vital enterprise software applications/infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience as a senior program manager working with software development teams executing the software development utilizing agile principles. The Senior Program Manager may oversee, direct, assign duties, and evaluate the work of team members and project staff. The manager performs advanced levels of project management work, works under limited supervision and has considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. This individual will work with a wide range of team members, including senior leadership throughout the agency, and serve as a representative of the IT.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience leading projects with cross-functional staff with high integration across multiple lines of business
• 2+ years experience managing software development projects.
• 2+ years experience large-scale projects
• Knowledge in managing projects using either an agile software development methodology or a structured project management methodology, delivering projects on time and on budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Agile Certification (Scrum Master)
• 2+ years of formal agile training
• Experience with project teams in Process Mapping, Use Case development, and User Interface design
• Proven track record of increasing demonstrated responsibility and success
• Familiar with EDI structures

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
