Insight on your impact

As an Anaplan Project Manager, you will proactively engage with our Care Management team, along with a large cross-section of Anaplan’s internal and external customers. This will involve engaging with support issues even before they are known to the organization and being at the forefront of major valuable change within the team. This role will enable you to layer multiple project streams, work with smart solutions and systems, and drive tangible quantitative results that drive Customer & Employee satisfaction.

To succeed, you must be methodical, curious, creative, highly motivated, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Customer Insights and Operations, you will be responsible for the delivery of projects, with the direct partnership and collaboration of the Customer Care leadership team.
  • You will be responsible for delivering these projects on time, within budget, in scope, with a primary focus on the quality of solution and customer satisfaction.
  • Defining post-implementation activities including documentation, measurement, maintenance, and improvement responsibilities.
  • You will need to have proven expertise in developing detailed project management & execution plans for the assigned project(s) and to manage the delivery with strong support from the leadership team.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing partnerships with key cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors to drive all requirements and deliverables.
  • Last, but not least, you will be working within Anaplan’s guidelines, policies toward our Customer-First and Employee mission.

What we ask you to bring – Proven Excellence

  • 5+ years of proven Project and Program Management experience, directly driving all aspects involved in medium and large projects.
  • 4+ years of experience managing technical projects involving parallel streams of deliverables which included process changes, software installation, infrastructure implementation, change management, and budget management.
  • Agile certification(s) is required
  • Experience implementing a scaled framework for agile development.
  • Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to lead via influence, in cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, in particular communicating technical concepts between audiences of varying backgrounds.
  • Experience with change management in particular new process definition/rollout.
  • Experience with software delivery, continuous integration, and delivery pipelines.
  • Capable of making tough decisions by gathering feedback from important stakeholders and then leading the change.

Technical Skills Required

  • JIRA/Confluence
  • CRM (ideally 3+ years of Salesforce experience)
  • Quality and test planning/execution

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification(s)
  • Data stack experience (e.g. visualizations, ETL, architecture)
  • Anaplan system experience (e.g., implementation, model builder, user)
  • Product Management experience
