Project Manager / Senior Project Manager
This position will be responsible for providing Project Management expertise and support to GRAIL teams working at the intersection of the R&D and operations functions. Candidate will work on projects in both areas to ensure all project achievements and deliverables are met, and that activities are well carriead out and handled. Responsibilities include the day-to-day planning, coordinating and tracking of critical activities including management of cross-functional projects working with product development, operations and other functional groups. Candidate will partner with functional and Life Cycle team leaders to optimize teams’ effectiveness, decision making, communication and apply robust negotiating skills to facilitate integrated decision making.
You will:
- Create and drives timelines to keep project(s) on schedule.
- Establish and maintain functionally coordinated project timeline
- Apply tracking tools to enable effective project management across various functional areas.
- Schedule, organize, and drive project team meeting(s): prepare and distribute agendas/minutes; track action items, and raise areas of risk to the appropriate management entity.
- Facilitate communication of sub-team issues and outcomes to the Core Team/Project team leadership.
- Handle the interfaces between functional areas and ensure effective handoff and communication between department functions to complete meaningful project landmarks.
- Works with project leaders and/or SME’s to prepare status reports, specific project updates, or scenarios.
- Handle document review processes to support functional activities and other key project results.
- Engage with quality and regulatory functions to ensure operational planning and execution meets encouraged standards
- Collaborate with Product Development and Operations Leadership/teams to define project-related budget assumptions for annual operating plan.

- Minimum of a BA/BS in a scientific field is required. An advanced degree (PhD, MS, MBA, MD) is desirable in a subject area related to drug development or business.
- Candidate will have at least 3-5 years multidisciplinary experience in the device/diagnostic/biotech/pharmaceutical industry, with 1-3 years direct project management in supporting validation studies, and knowledge of one or more laboratory operations related functions e.g. technical operations, supply chain, MSAT, engineering
- Experience working under design control
