Senior Project Manager

Snap Lab is the hardware division within Snap Inc. where we experiment with bringing physical and digital worlds together through wearable technology like Spectacles 3. Snap Lab is a learning organization, functioning in close partnership with creators to build an AR future together.
We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team! Working on the Marketing team, you will be responsible for project managing consumer-facing creative projects for Snap Lab, owning all project communications and processes, while exercising project controls. The Senior Project Manager must plan and demonstrate a cohesive understanding of the deliverables, tasks, dependencies, team resourcing and forecasting, and process. In addition, the Senior PM must constantly assess project risks and communicate contingency plans to the necessary stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
You will own the successful execution and delivery of all projects for your pod regardless of project size, in a variety of assignments (digital, web, video, OOH, experiential, etc.)
You are an extremely skilled communicator, able to own and facilitate conversations regardless of group size or seniority level. You know how to explain things clearly and drive decision making. You also know how to be an active listener, and can easily tailor your inputs and communication style based on the group.
You will partner with team leads to properly vet, scope and kickoff assignments and you are the owner and driver of all due dates and milestones on your projects.
You will collaborate with the Product team, closely tracking product lifecycle and managing Marketing plans and timelines accordingly
You will develop and own accurate project documentation, including timelines and scoping documents
You are focused on anticipating problems and solving them with little to no inputs needed from your manager.
You drive process improvements, always contributing actively to conversations and workshops as well as proactively suggesting new more efficient ways of working.
You have an active and vested interest in the development of the pod and improving ways of working
You care about team building and are a natural collaborator; you reach across lines to foster camaraderie, inclusivity, and teamwork
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional team members across the business (creative teams, leadership/exec team members, engineers, marketers, production) as well as with multiple external partners and agencies
Experience building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to a constantly evolving environment
Experience leading and driving HW Product launches from Marketing PM standpoint
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Superb attention to detail, good judgement, and listening skills
High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
Awesome attitude and passion for Snap Inc.’s products and creativity
Minimum qualifications:
8-12 years in the industry or related Project Management experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Experience in Consumer and/or Product Marketing in tech space (HW)
Preferred qualifications:
High competency and proven track record of project management of large engagements and integrated creative projects
Experience managing a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel
Experience with various projects types, including digital, web, video, events, and social
Experience in Product Management
Experience working in AR/VR/traditional camera space
Passion for emerging technologies
