JOB
FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Senior Project Manager in Durham, NC, to lead the production services team to manage customer relationships with multiple business customers after the project implementation has gone into production. Understand customer needs and requirements. Design effective solutions for customer requirements and resolve product issues efficiently and on schedule. Work with multiple functional and development teams to coordinate resources and deliver solutions for customer requirements. Communicate roadmaps and product solutions with internal and external stakeholders and customers. Plan, initiate, and manage software development projects in banking that provide for heterogeneous technology environments, reliability, high availability, high-speed transaction processing and similar high-end technical features. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Perform code reviews to ensure quality. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects. Manage complex implementations by proving project estimations, preparing staffing plans, creating comprehensive project plans, managing delivery timelines, providing periodic status reports, and raising issues for escalation as appropriate. Ensure that deployments are delivered on-time and according to client specifications. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. Resolve and deploy issues found during performance scans such as Fortify, and Black Duck. Develop project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: utilizing industry project management best practices, including Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK); utilizing IT project methodologies and life cycles, including conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, and classic; performing traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and project application; utilizing software industry standards, including ISO, CMM, and Six Sigma; utilizing project management software to manage projects with MS Project and auxiliary tools, including earned value database, audit tools, project repository, risk, issues, and action items database, SLIM Estimate, Metrics and Control, PlanView, and Platinum Process Continuum; managing project budgets and timelines; utilizing development methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid; implementing projects in Azure and AWS cloud for .Net and Java; and developing project scopes and objectives. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills. 5% travel is required to various and unanticipated FIS Management Services, LLC offices and client sites nationally. Telecommuting and/ or working from home permissible.
