Overview
Responsible for the management of complex product and pricing projects within the Product and Pricing Strategy Group (PPSG). Primary responsibilities include the creation and management of an end to end project plan, ensuring requirements are thoroughly documented, dependencies are identified and managed, adequate user testing is completed, pre and post release validation is completed, and risks are escalated as needed to ensure timely and thorough implementation. Responsible for managing associated project resources with the goal of delivering the project on time (within budget), adhering to high quality standards and meeting customer expectations. Responsible for driving strategic projects that may consist of senior management or other project managers. May also be responsible for managing the ongoing maintenance and versioning of the product or project.
Job Description

  • Proactively interfaces across departments and/or divisions to manage complex product and pricing projects including defining project scope, objectives, processes, methodologies, schedules, high-level deliverables and business results
  • Collaborate with other PMOs and key stakeholders across the enterprise to continually monitor project performance and guide project activities to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Ensure key project objectives, requirements, planning schedules, cost estimates are established, and business testing / release validation is completed
  • Operationally manage the personnel assigned to the project team ensuring project level resource availability and allocation
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report critical issues or misalignments that may jeopardize timelines or success to management as needed
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Manage relationships with all stakeholders and other PMOs
  • Ensure management is updated on project progress and outcomes
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Determine project innovation possibilities
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned by manager
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values


Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • Experience in the direct management of large, complex, cross-functional projects
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
  • Financial services and/or mortgage industry experience
  • Experience managing software product development projects
  • Strong collaborative, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project etc.)
  • Depth of function knowledge in project areas including capital markets, pricing and mortgage products
  • Proven track record at delivering timely results in a face-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work independently
  • Proven people management skills
