THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a Sr. Project Manager , you will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing product org and will help lead the management and project execution for Salesloft’s key quarterly and yearly product initiatives. 

In addition to working with amazing colleagues who exemplify our ‘team over self’ core value, you will also have the opportunity to project manage for teams that create impactful and revolutionary software that is changing the way sellers sell.  You will have an opportunity to make a difference. 

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for leading the management and project execution for complex cross-team product and engineering initiatives. Specifically, you will:

  • Develop detailed program/project plans and manage projects of work
  • Define planning cadences and clearly communicate schedule and expectations across all stakeholders.
  • Meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project progress, risks, and decisions.
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of project status throughout its life cycle to the stakeholders and the executive team.
  • Analyze and mitigate program risks.
  • Oversee day-to-day execution of each project.
  • Build trusted relationships with primary points of contact.
  • Form  trusted relationships with internal cross-functional teams .
  • Lead complex projects or programs and deliver quality work on time and on budget. 
  • Proactively identify and optimize process/resource efficiencies.


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a bias-towards-action, results-oriented, dynamic and innovative Project Manager with experience working with multi-location engineering teams that operate in an Agile and CI/CD environment.

THE SKILL SET:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Project or Program Manager (PMP certification, strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with engineering practices - scrum, sprints, kanban, ci/cd, devops, etc
  • Exceptional communication skills. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Must be dynamic, innovative, and possess creative problem solving skills.
  • An initiator and a pusher. Has the urge and ability to make things happen and to solve practical problems in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective verbal/written communication skills, strong listening, negotiation and facilitation skills and the ability to develop and deliver program/project plans
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple teams within multiple geographic locations to meet demanding deliverables
  • Self-motivated, innovative, detailed-oriented professional with project management experience

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:

  • Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique 
  • Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 plan, meet & shadow current members of the Salesloft team, and assist your team on key projects 
  • Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
  • Meet key partners in Engineering, Technology, Product and Support. - they will be key relationships for you throughout your initiatives.
  • Become an expert in our project methodology and processes

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Begin owning and managing 1-2 initiatives
  • Confidently manage both internal and external project meetings
  • Execute detailed stakeholder updates to product and engineering management leaders and stakeholders.

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Consistently meet or exceed delivery and quality expectations of key initiatives
  • Continue to develop professional relationships with stakeholders
  • Continue to focus on your OKRs

 WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Be considered a top-performing Project Manager on the team by consistently exceeding your goals 
  • Set an example for new Project Managers, and assist in training, onboarding and motivating new Lofters
  • Assist in creating and iterating on department processes
