CACI is seeking for a Senior Program Manager who will be responsible for planning, directing, reporting, and coordinating day to day program activities for both organizational requirements and stakeholder contractual requirements. This organization is responsible for the design, development, integration and test of hardware and software components to deliver the required functionality to meet customer mission requirements. We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to organize and coordinate programs. You will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers/technical leads in ways that promote the company's culture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing programs that consist of hardware and software development as well as production and deployment of systems to government customers. The Senior Program Manager must be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely, cost effective and high-quality manner. They will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics to lead the team in execution of current contract efforts as well as define future concepts for next generation solutions to support customer mission requirements. The goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our customers.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Perform Project Monitoring and Control, Quarterly Reviews, Project/Resource planning, team tasking, managing direct reports, functional/operational deployment, oversee program risk and issue reporting, maintain excellent customer interfacing and communication, completion of key milestones, deliverables, work products and timely required internal/external reports. This includes assessing progress of hardware and software development efforts and implementing corrective actions to address programmatic issues and risks.
  • Program Monitoring and Control includes establishment of baselines associated with cost, schedule and EV reporting utilizing integrated master schedule, CWBS, project specific spend plans, burn rate reports and funds and man-hour deliverables per CLIN.
  • Financial baseline/cost account oversight with the customer and corporate administration.
  • Direct resource performance management and matrix planning for organic resources and sub-contract resources.
  • Contract administration to include CRDL deliverables, Management Plans, Milestones, Risk and Issue Tracking, Labor Category verification, and customer invoicing within DFAS and WAWF requirements.
  • Sub-contractor administration to include teaming negotiations, technical evaluation, performance tracking, procurement requests and invoice approval authority.
  • Procurement requests include Indirect and Direct purchases associated with infrastructure, licensing and professional services needs that are tracked in accordance with competitive pricing and DCAA requirements.
  • Development of contract pricing models to support objectives in contract Labor, ODC's, G&A, Fee and Material Handling Costs with a price to win strategy.
  • Final review and approval on all contract deliverables to either the contracting officer, the contracting officer representative or integrated operational program manager.
  • Preparation, development and outline of company and customer presentation reports.
  • Direct reports include
    • Project managers, financial administrators, business analysts, solution/system architects, information assurance, software developers, research analyst, subject matter experts, technical writers, testers, system/database administrators and configuration manager.



More About the Role:
As the Senior Program Manager, you must have proven experience leading multiple large, complex hardware and software development programs or a portfolio of development programs up to $75M/yr. As the Senior Program Manager you shall be accountable for meeting contractual performance criteria, contractual due dates for service delivery, and successful overall project completion. You will be responsible for coordinating activities in support of project activities and teams that support the provisioning, design, development, integration, test, installation, maintenance, tracking and monitoring requirements through completion and preparing finished deliverables and work products (e.g., status reports, spend plans to Sponsor, corporate forecast management, open issues, etc.).

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Science (Engineering or Computer Science) with 10-15 years of project management experience.
  • Direct work experience as program manager on programs requiring the requirements definition, design, development, integration and test and evaluation and deployment of integrated hardware and software systems.
  • Experience in organically growing program and/or portfolio revenue.
  • Project supervisory/execution experience including supervising and scheduling work for a team of multi-functional personnel to include engineers, financial management, subcontracts, configuration management, quality assurance/control, production managers.
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with managing Firm Fixed Price (FFP) hardware and software development efforts and application of EVM and CMMI.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter and able to negotiate with customers directly.
  • Experience participating in the development of proposals (technical and cost).



These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with DOD acquisition and management.
  • PMP certification is desired.
