The Flexe Strategy & Analytics team is looking for a Sr. Program Manager to join Flexe to help build a reliable and scalable business analytics and financial systems infrastructure. This position reports to the Director of Business Analytics, with dotted accountability towards the Controller. The ideal candidate has exceptional analytical and communication skills.

As part of many hardworking and driven professionals, you will be driving consensus while finding a path forward to deliver a roadmap that everyone can rally around in our fast-paced organization. You will partner closely with Product & Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Operations, and Revenue Operations to prioritize and execute against the roadmap. Candidates should possess a natural curiosity for how the industry and business operates, and work to become the “glue” and pivotal connection between various stakeholder teams.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and document inputs from stakeholders around project priority, tradeoffs and bottlenecks. Document scope and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria. Provide relevant and timely information for all stakeholders.
  • Own the JIRA dashboard and metrics by managing the JIRA projects/board and ensuring information in JIRA is correct and timely.
  • Assist the Analytics Manager in leading agile scrums for the Business Analytics and Finance teams to plan, execute and review work requests in bi-weekly sprints. Facilitate various project status, planning, and review meetings.
  • Serve as the point of contact representing Business Analytics and Finance to work with various product and engineering teams on new product design or current product updates/changes that would have implications for downstream data capture, processing and business/financial reporting.
  • Proactively participate in product design and feature release meetings and conversations that may have data architecture and data integration implications. Document the discussion and decision points, and work with engineers and/or analysts to implement these decisions.
  • Collaborate with the product/engineering team to ensure data capture and architecture meet the needs of various analytics, finance and accounting use cases. Provide clear requirements for engineering.
  • Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to make sure all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are being met.
  • Work closely with Finance personnel, as well as others across the organization to improve Flexe’s financial system architecture, financial reporting, procure to pay process, and other cost saving initiatives. Drive the evaluation and adoption of financial systems/ tools and ensure the successful integration of financial infrastructure with the company-wide data ecosystem.
  • Work with cross-discipline teams on data governance plans and decisions. Document data governance recommendations and decisions.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in technical or financial management field or related discipline preferred
  • 5+ years of Program Management experience, ideally working in data analytics or finance/accounting domain
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Experience in Agile/SCRUM development methodology
  • Experience with reporting system/tools; comfortable with using/creating dashboards and reports.
  • Experience with online accounting/finance tools
  • Proficient in agile tools such as JIRA
  • Ability to solve challenging business and technology problems
  • Strong and creative technical problem solving skills; ability to understand the big picture and offer technical suggestions and feedback to improve the tools and processes
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently
  • Strong stakeholder and project management skills, the ability to gather requirements, develop into user stories and acceptance criteria, and communicate across cross-functional partners. 
  • Demonstrated problem solving, confidence, and decision-making ability to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines using analytical capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people, strong interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Netsuite financial system experience a plus
