About the Role:
The Senior Program Manager could teach a master class in multi-tasking, optimized processes, and team communication. They can understand and translate strategic plans while also having a penchant for tiny, vital details – all to support the advancement, unification and maintenance of efforts and resources across the Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced program manager who can flawlessly juggle programs, schedules, assets and deliverables, while effectively balancing multiple teams of leaders and do-ers across brand, creative, customer experience, partnerships, communications and events. The Marketing team at PitchBook is critical to fueling the company's growth by utilizing a variety of strategies to support our Sales and Customer Success departments grow and retain our client base. The Marketing team is responsible for all demand generation efforts by executing engaging campaigns, effective product marketing strategies, and attending client and trade-show events. The Marketing team is also responsible for promoting the PitchBook brand and managing internal communications

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Own operations and execution of programs that span multiple areas across the marketing team 
  • Define scalable processes and frameworks that can be leveraged by multiple cross-functional teams across the organization
  • Ensure collaboration across the marketing team to advance our strategic priorities and ensure business results are delivered
  • Drive efficiency in campaign, program, tactic and asset management across multi-functional team structure 
  • Manage and refine processes, tools, and systems that support efficient workflow and effective communication
  • Manage multiple complex workstreams to help deliver successful campaigns and programs
  • Forecast and manage upcoming and current timelines based on team capacity 
  • Provide visibility into upcoming milestones so all stakeholders are up to speed on anticipated workloads and resource needs 
  • Work closely with the analytics teams to measure and understand the impact of projects; devise recommendations for refinement to develop best practices from your learnings
  • Provide guidance and leadership to other project management professionals in the marketing organization
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Skills and Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required; PMP, PMI-AC or PfMP preferred but not required
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in project or program management, ideally with marketing related programs
  • Strong project management skills to drive and implement ideas in a changing environment
  • Experience using creative project planning and management software, such as Asana, Wrike or Trello
  • Knowledge of creative content development and production 
  • Experience in digital marketing, communications, partnerships, events and/or brand stewardship 
  • Track record of success stewarding efforts across a fast-paced, matrixed organization
  • Proven collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Clear and effective communication skills whether via keyboard, video or in-person
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and people simultaneously 
  • Experience balancing big picture thinking combined with attention to detail and a focus on execution and results
  • Ability to embrace and effectively navigate change 
  • Capable of learning new technologies, industries, and business processes quickly. Knowledge of private equity, venture capital, and M&A is a plus, but not required
  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
