Microsoft Azure provides customers with an on-demand and infinitely scalable infrastructure and platform for customers to build, host, and scale service applications on the Internet through Microsoft's global data centers. As part of the Azure Engineering organization, Azure CXP is a rapidly growing team committed to transforming Azure customers into Azure fans.
The Customer Trust and Reliability and E2E Communications Products team is looking for a thoughtful, analytical, independent thinker to own and drive new approaches and solutions to support the evolution of the Communications Hub. As a Product Manager, you will interface with several teams to drive execution of core priorities that impact critical customers, with a focus on increasing customer satisfaction with Microsoft's Cloud Offerings .Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate business strategy and goals and how they align to the team's work. Plan the product work to achieve goals and respond effectively to changing priorities, maintaining team energy and results.
  • Works with discipline peers to align priorities, processes and product appropriately.
  • Leads others in scoping problems by identifying key issues, inputs, stakeholders, and outcomes.
  • Define and track product success metrics; adapting product plans to maximize business impact
  • Evangelize products and services to customers, and provide quality documentation and training material
  • Overcomes obstacles by resolving issues, regardless of team boundaries, and identifies and resolves teamwork issues.
  • Engages and maintains consistent communication with all relevant parties until issues are resolved.
  • Promotes a positive team environment by modeling behavior that promotes good morale.
  • Makes important business decisions with confidence and persuades others.
  • Removes barriers by working with others around a shared need or customer benefit.
  • Builds plans that consider potential obstacles and immediate and long-term consequences.
  • Solicits and acts on feedback about his or her own performance.
  • Strong analytical skills, taking pride in making data-driven business decisions while defining and improving program initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in program management leading complex initiatives.
  • BA/BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, thinking through options to problems, making decisions and driving forward to successful outcomes.
  • Experience in Program Management with a focus on customer support, adoption, or deployment programs, and change management with a WW scale.
  • Familiar with Azure deployment process and methodology.
  • Exceptional leadership acumen and demonstrated success in engaging virtual teams with the ability to influence others.
  • Excellence in communicating new ideas, in clear presentations, that land with senior management and peer teams - marketing, engineering, operations, and partner management, among others.
  • Ability to expand network and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders to achieve mutual success.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills - able to present, discuss and articulate challenges to a range of audiences, in a concise and effective manner.
  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity and open to change to drive positive business impact.
  • Must be flexible and open to working during non-business hours to accommodate global team connections.
