About the Role:

Transfix is on an exciting growth path, and as we make huge investments in our Data Warehouse, we are looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our Data team. In this role, you’ll own our roadmap, aiming to deliver customer-centric solutions to our reporting and analytics function. You’ll also partner with teams across Transfix to identify areas where data can be better utilized and will play an integral part in developing elegant, simple solutions to complex problems and challenges.

This role is ideal for you if you’re comfortable liaising with business and tech stakeholders, recognizing the various perspectives and challenges of a range of audiences, and understand how to navigate ambiguity in a scaling function.

In this Role You Will:

  • Own a roadmap that aims to deliver a best in class and customer-focused data warehouse that supports the reporting and analytics function of our data team
  • Lead the delivery of new data marts within the enterprise data warehouse and ensure user adoption within the larger data team
  • Build strong trust within the organization and partner with teams across the organization to find gaps in data or to identify areas of data concern
  • Learn the Transfix business inside and out and scope the requirements, prioritization, and adoption of data-centric solutions for business needs (and not just the business wants!)
  • Help to ensure the new data warehouse team within Transfix has a sustainable and scalable reporting and analytics function
  • Set and help hold our teams accountable for data, reporting, and regulatory compliance, such as (but not limited to) Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance
  • Coordinate across various teams within the Data (business intelligence, ETL, and reporting), and across Transfix (engineering, operations, sales) to deliver data solutions

You’re an Excellent Fit for this Role if You Bring:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in Data Warehouse program management, whether in-house or in a consulting role
  • You have experience helping to build and maintain performance metrics, and can communicate those metrics into a story
  • You’re a great communicator and a trusted partner who is equally comfortable working with business stakeholders as you are with technical teams
  • You’re an expert at navigating ambiguity and are adept at solving complex problems with creative solutions
  • You’re passionate about data and are energized by driving business solutions, goals, and objectives through data-centric solutions
  • You’re a determined go-getter and calm under pressure - you drive towards meeting deadlines and your organizational skills ensure you don’t get knocked off course
  • You’re able to glean simple and elegant solutions from very complex problems
  • You have experience with data solutions and larger-scale implementations that have many stakeholders and multiple business lines

You’re a Mile ahead if you Have (You may get this here if you haven't yet!):

  • You have a basic understanding of SQL and can read and write SQL queries
  • PMP or Agile certification

  • This role is part of Transfix's fully-remote Data & Analytics team. However, we value real-time collaboration in our teams and are prioritizing candidates in Eastern, Central, and Atlantic time zones.
