Position Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager of Business Continuity and Resiliency to apply and execute a risk-based continuity and operational resiliency program in support of McKesson's business units and sub-business units.

Position Description:

The Senior Program Manager of Business Continuity and Resiliency is responsible for supporting the development, execution, and maintenance of McKesson's enterprise continuity program and operational resiliency plans based on industry standards and professional practices. The Senior Program Manager will partner with business unit leaders, business continuity champions, and stakeholders to improve the business resiliency posture and ensure all work products are on-time and high-quality to comply with the Global CISO's Information Security program. The Senior Program Manager will report to the Director of McKesson Enterprise Continuity and Resiliency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business unit champions and coordinators to understand, discuss, and advise on strategic priorities, concerns, and key business continuity risks.
  • Formulate, articulate, and align key stakeholders on a risk-based strategy and roadmap to mature the business continuity and resiliency posture of the assigned business units.
  • Work with technology and business partners to develop plans, define processes, and implement strategies to mitigate the impact of potential adverse conditions such as natural disasters, acts of terror / war, cyberattacks, epidemics / pandemics, etc. on business unit operations.
  • Oversee the work of cross-functional teams to conduct business impacts analysis, identify critical services, define recovery time objectives, and map critical dependencies and risks.
  • Lead validation, maintenance, and testing of recovery and continuity plans across various levels and with different degrees of complexity.
  • Support crisis management, incident management, and emergency response planning, coordination, and implementation within assigned business units.
  • Participate in and support various response and recovery teams across the enterprise during actual incidents and events.
  • Communicate regarding key deliverables and due dates to business unit stakeholders and plan owners with the goal to ensure compliance with standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Provide escalation path for business continuity and resiliency issues, incidents, and inquiries.
  • Work with business unit champions and coordinators to determine acceptable levels of risk, report on variances, and propose mitigation activities.



Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years in business Operations, Program Management, Information Technology, Information Security Services, or Risk Management.
  • 4+ years of implementing and managing business continuity and resiliency programs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.



Critical Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build / maintain ongoing business relationships at all levels within an organization.
  • Strong ability to influence or negotiate with stakeholders dealing with competing priorities.
  • Solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to exercise good professional judgment.
  • Experience in risk assessment, audit, and business continuity maturity assessments.
  • Experience with compliance regulations, frameworks, and standards.
  • Knowledge of healthcare distribution and transportation industries.
  • Experience managing complex and cross functional projects or programs.
  • CBCP or higher required.
  • PMP, CISM, or CISSP a plus.



Education:

4-year degree in business, finance, or information security.
