Senior Manager, Agile Program Lead
The Chief of Staff Office functions in support of the 10,000+ associate Tech organization. Our team partners across divisional Chiefs of Staff, Communications, HR, Finance, Workplace Solutions, Enterprise Supplier Management and our Tech Leadership team to enable our collective organizational goals.
In the Agile Program Lead role, you’ll ensure your program’s delivery success by leveraging the appropriate Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe/LESS, etc.) to enable predictable, quality delivery while maintaining a focus on the continuous improvement of the program.
The Agile Program Lead will optimize productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the program’s goals while preserving the team’s flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to change. This individual will have a proven track record of bringing analytical insights to bear and the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage operations in a dynamic, complex environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing Agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Driving successful and timely completion of Enterprise imperatives
- Partners cross-functionally with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive product delivery
- Drives awareness and ownership of key risks, issues and impediments related to the portfolio roadmap
- Manages integrated portfolio roadmap, stakeholder communication and escalation of issues
- Builds relationships and collaborates with key stakeholders to manage risks, impediments, dependencies and ensure delivery of commitments
- Driving Agile maturity and Innovation approaches across a set of teams
- Coaching teams on the basics of Lean, Scrum or Kanban (as needed) in simple terms
- Leveraging data and Agile Tools (Jira, JiraAlign, EazyBI, Confluence, etc) to measure & monitor progress against commitments
- Deliver event-related communications and status updates at multiple organizational levels
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 5 years of industry experience in Technology Delivery (software or infrastructure)
At least 4 years of experience in Process, Program, or Project Management
At least 4 years of Agile experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree
6+ years of project management experience in the following: policy and standards, risk management and reporting, and change management and adoption
6+ years of experience with JIRA Software and JIRA Align
Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean, or Six Sigma certification
Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification, or Project Management Institute’s Agile Certified Professional (ACP), or SAFe certification
