Job Description:
The Data Strategy & Management (DSM) bears critical responsibility on behalf of Client to create value for customers, regulators, and business operations through the collection, organization, and interpretation of data from Client's expansive data portfolio. The mission of our team is to enable data driven decisions across the company and external stakeholders by ensuring secure, reliable and cataloged data access from our data lake and delivering insights utilizing advanced AI/ML approaches to support achieving Client's goal to provide energy that is safe, clean, reliable, affordable and secure.

We are looking for a IT Project Manager who manages all aspects of IT projects/teams, typically involving multiple disciplines in the IT function. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and resolve issues to ensure project/team goals and requirements are met. Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Works independently, receives minimal guidance

Size of the team this resource will be working : 10-12 people
Required Skills :

• Project Management - Defines, documents, and carries out small or medium sized projects with a team, actively participating in all phases. Identifies, assesses, and manages risks to the success of the project. Agrees on project approach with stakeholders and prepares realistic plans (including quality, risk, and communications plans) and tracks activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate. Monitors costs, timescales and resources used and takes action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensures that own projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed and that lessons learned are recorded.
• Portfolio, Program and Project Support - Takes responsibility for the provision of support services to projects. Uses and recommends project control solutions for planning, scheduling, and tracking projects. Sets up and provides detailed guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools, and techniques. Supports program or project control boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings. Provides basic guidance on individual project proposals. May be involved in aspects of supporting a program by providing a cross-program view on risk, change, quality, finance, or configuration management.
• Methods and Tools - Promotes and ensures use of appropriate techniques, methodologies, and tools.
• Financial Management - Manages and tracks the budget for the project.

• Preferred skillsets
o Preferred PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)
o Experience with agile and lean principles
o Experience with JIRA
Education requirements:

• Preferred PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Minimum 4 years of prior experience in a similar role
• Requires a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, management or other related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically two or more years in related field.
• Preferred experience in or knowledge of utilities business domains and/or IT environment
