OVERVIEW
We are seeking an engagement manager in our newly established Professional Services team focused on delivering best-in-class custom solutions and services to some of the biggest retailers in the world, leveraging Instacart’s best-in-class products and experience. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and drive the successful delivery of complex digital roadmaps with one of North America’s largest retailers. You will collaborate with our account management team to help define a roadmap that addresses the partner’s most critical business needs, and then drive execution with a cross-functional team of product managers, product designers and engineers to deliver successful go-lives. You’ll have an opportunity to leverage your skills and experiences to help shape the roadmap, as well work with internal stakeholders and leaders to ensure Instacart’s platform is enabling the success of the team and its engagement with the partner.
ABOUT THE JOB
- You will be the main point of contact for the professional services engagement with our retail partner, and will manage the day to day activities internally and externally (within our retail partner’s organization), including presence in regular Executive Steering Committee meetings
- You will manage the execution of our engagement across all spectrums of the software development lifecycle: ideation, requirements gathering, design & wireframing, engineering and go-live
- You will collaborate with various stakeholders (business & technical) within our retail partner’s organization to develop, define and size new projects; including drafting of SOW’s and ensuring they are staffed appropriately
- You will aid in hiring and growing the team participating in your engagement including engineers, product manager and product designers.
- You will provide guidance and mentorship to the cross-functional peers working on your initiatives
ABOUT YOU
- 5+ years of managing large, complex digital transformation or ERP projects. Bonus points if they are within eCommerce or grocery retail.
- Demonstrated experience in influencing senior leadership, business and technical stakeholders and peer groups in driving successful implementations in large organizations
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment where you’ll be looked upon to define new processes and standards for best-in-class delivery
- Strong analytical skills and a sense of ownership
