The Role

The position of Senior Associate in the Willis Towers Watson (WTW) Health & Benefits Global Practice is principally focused on supporting H&B clients in delivering our global benefits engagements and supporting our broader team and H&B colleagues to advance our global relationships with high value add services. The work involved is largely centered on delivering global coordination of global engagements, utilizing established systematic service delivery processes, standards, and global resources. Principally, the client profile that we serve in this team are established and emerging multinationals that would be positioned in the US mid and upper-mid markets. In some cases, this team also supports large US multinationals with emerging global footprint and needs.

In this position, the Associate will work closely with a dedicated team of Global Benefits specialists and perform a myriad of assignments in a collaborative work setting. There is a considerable focus on delivering WTW Global Benefits Management (GBM) services in the WTW operating model. Services that are fit for the expressed needs of the client profile we serve. This position will be centered on coordinating and managing multi-country projects, working closely with the GBM client lead, client headquarters, local country client contacts and local Willis Towers Watson brokers/consultants. You will serve as the project manager and often assume day-to-day communication liaison role with WTW clients using WTW project management tools.

  • Deliver superior, consistent project management on multi-country projects such as global benefits management
  • Serve as the day-to-day project manager, ensuring the progress of the team against established objectives, budget, timeline, deliverables, and quality standards
  • Serve as the secondary, daily contact to clients located at headquarters as well as overseas offices concerning delivery of services, coordinating with Willis Towers Watson consultants globally
  • Manage client expectations and raise appropriate issues to senior consultants
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship both internally and with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects
  • Participate in special projects including but not limited to, benchmarking, leave, perquisites, multinational pooling
  • Support new business RFPs and ongoing support as part of the broader team
  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams



The Requirements

  • 5 - 10 years of experience with working knowledge of global benefits and demonstrated expertise in delivering HR consulting services to multinational organizations
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and producing quality deliverables on time
  • Strong client relationship, interpersonal and team skills
  • A professional presence with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and proven ability to identify and resolve issues
  • Analytical and creative skills
  • The ability to see the "big picture," leveraging the resources of related practices to address the clients' business challenges
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
  • Availability to travel on an as needed basis
  • BA/BS degree, preferred but not required
  • Experience living and working overseas, and foreign language skills preferred, but not required
