Position Description:

As a Scrum Master, you will be a coach and facilitator for IT squad. Your work will include coaching team members, proactively eliminating barriers, and facilitating team delivery on sprint goals. You will work closely with your team and Product Owner and peer Scrum Masters to support Sprint and Release Planning, foster team self-awareness, encourage cross-training, decision-making and continuous improvement.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Manage multiple team project's scope and timeline
Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
Coach team members in Agile frameworks
Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)
Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
Help teams implement changes effectively
Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
Help build a productive environment where team members 'own' the product and enjoy working on it
Communicating status, risks, issues and/or concerns to leadership in a timely manner
Maintaining and updating documentation regarding the design and operation of all software and systems components
Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
Acts as a leader who coaches and supports Agile teams assigned to mainly Business as Usual (BAU) work and to a lesser degree, important department initiatives and applicable portions of corporate projects and initiatives.
Adhering to established best practices for development/design lifecycle
Establishing and maintaining a high quality of work
Practicing proper business and professional ethics
Maintain a productive work environment

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.
Certified Agile or Scrum master certification such as CSM, PSM I, SAFe 4.0 Scrum Master, PMI - ACP preferred
4+ years of experience as a scrum master or in a similar role.
Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions.
Leadership and management experience.
Excellent people and project management skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
