If you are located within Wisconsin or surrounding area you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participates within an Agile framework across a matrix environment and fully utilizing agile tools (e.g.: Rally, and Aha)
  • Organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, release planning, and other agile development related activities at the team level
  • Guiding the global team(s) and the organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers
  • Guiding the global team(s) on how to get the most out of self-organization. Raise level of agile maturity across the organization
  • Create/Maintain relevant metrics to show management how teams are progressing, resource availability and utilization and capacity needs
  • Track team velocity, health and sprint/release progress. Participates proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices
  • Ensure teams are practicing core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility
  • Responsible for building high-performing teams focused on constantly improving team dynamics and performance
  • Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team(s) and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team(s) to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment
  • Supporting and educating the Product Owner(s), especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog
  • Will work with Kanban teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • BS or BA degree in relevant field or related experience as a practicing Scrum Master in a technology and/or software development
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • 2+ years of leading and organizing projects following Agile Best Practices
  • 2+ years of experience with Rally Software, Aha (or similar agile delivery tool)
