Job Description This position will be part of the Wealth Management Technology team focused on the Managed Account and National Branch platforms. This role will provide support to the Technology Program Managers with a focus on the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of the Managed Account transition and National Branch build out. The incumbent to this position will be responsible for partnering with multiple Application Development teams, Product Owners, and Operations teams to coordinate and manage the delivery of the future state platforms.
This role requires a strong grasp of the big-picture - namely, how can technology help achieve business goals - as well as a keen ability to establish priorities, manage resources and budgets, and build and incentivize high-performing teams. You'll work closely with colleagues across the firm to identify opportunities to develop projects and programs that are broadly applicable. Once you work with Development groups, Product Owners, and Operations teams to establish a roadmap, you'll play an integral role in ensuring that the project is running on time, within budget, and in accordance with firm-wide guidelines, including risk and architecture. Just as importantly, you'll work with your team to set goals, foster collaboration, and promote the values, culture, and brand of JPMorgan Chase & Co.
In addition, this role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Expert knowledge in all business processes across an entire line of business, as well expertise in other lines of business and technology disciplines
  • Understanding of global and line of business project and program management standards and methods
  • Experience working with high-performing teams in complex program execution
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods; stakeholder management; budget management, risk management and operations
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm


Responsibilities:

  • Lead technology projects and deliverables to achieve an overall business goal or objective.
  • Clearly defining and adhering to goals, objectives, scope, and all roles and responsibilities across all deliverables.
  • Facilitate fact-based decision making
  • Establish plans, priorities, deadlines, and structure.
  • Ensures project is completed in accordance with all Risk, Architecture and other relevant firm wide guidelines.
  • Establishing and maintaining JIRA boards and dashboards - leadership throughout the planning and development process including leading daily meetings and grooming sessions.
  • Identification, communication and escalation of risks and issues as needed
  • Keeping all parties aware of overall project status, issues, risks, roadblocks, and success.
  • Support the product owner to produce and prioritize the backlog for development and estimation while motivating the team.
  • Efficient and effective verbal and written communication both within the Technology team and across key stakeholders.
  • Build and reinforce relationships with stakeholders.
  • Partner with the business to understand the product pipeline for Discretionary Investments and communicate the impact to their technology colleagues
  • Strong ability to manage changes to scope, roadmap, and backlog
  • Flexibility in approach to analysis based on the complexity and scope of the change requested
  • Be aware of cross impacts and ongoing efforts across the broader Asset Management organization to ensure efficiencies.
  • Be able to deliver solutions with an equal focus on the operational/business models as well as the technology solution.
  • Ensure quality in written documentation for requirements, user stories and technical designs across teams.
  • End to End testing oversight and management of key issues with business and operations partners.
  • Presentation of analysis findings to stakeholders for review and approval.


Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years manag ed account experience highly desired; focus on technology.
  • 3+ years of project delivery and application development exposure, application development experience is a plus.
  • Relevant hands-on technical background, including experience in Agile methodology and Jira.
  • Ability to tailor communications (i.e., high level vs detailed level) based on the audience.
  • Ability to identify impacts, estimates, and drive strategic solutions across a set of teams
  • Excellent facilitation skills. Ability to command/lead facilitation meetings with clear & specific agenda. Keep the audience attentive and active in participation of the meetings.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
