Responsible for compliance with Truist Technology Development Lifecycle (TDLC) and coordination with established Truist Release Management best practices. May also be required to perform project management activities, if needed.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Lead 1 to 2 scrum teams utilizing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology.
2. Act as a servant leader to scrum team(s) to manage dependencies, remove impediments to deliver user story/feature commitments and achieve overall initiative success.
3. Work with Agile Team Coach to assess team maturity, drive improvements to move to the next maturity level and assist with transfer of Agile skills consistently across teams.
4. Ensure adherence to Truist TDLC and other applicable Corporate policies and processes.
5. Work under minimal supervision.
6. Provide input to initiative-related decisions.
7. Troubleshoot complex problems and recommend appropriate actions.
8. Manage projects through the project lifecycle. Document the project charter, roles, tasks and measures of success. Evaluate progress and quality, manage issue resolution and take corrective action as necessary.
9. May be called upon to troubleshoot, solve, or consult on, highly technical, complex problems and recommend appropriate actions.
10. Proactively develop innovative approaches, risk mitigation strategies, quality control and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1.Bachelor degree and related training or experience, including experience in a Scrum Master role
2. Seven+ years of professional experience, two+ years of experience working on or with agile teams, three+ years in a delivery role (developer, tester, architect, BA, business owner, etc.)
3. Working knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodologies
4. Detailed knowledge of several IT and non-IT/Agile skills and tools and their application.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. College degree in Computer Science, Math or related field of study
2. Subject Matter Expertise in a specific Segment/LOB/Function such as a Technical SME
3. Experience in the banking industry
4. Knowledge in software development lifecycle in an enterprise environmen
