Job Description

Summary:

Accuray is building a modern, product-oriented technology organization that executes with urgency, precision, and with an extreme focus on customer service. As part of this journey, Accuray is undergoing a large-scale, global SAP S/4HANA implementation across all business and functional groups. The goal of this implementation is to migrate to a standard SAP S/4HANA ecosystem that is agile, scalable, and able to meet Accuray's current and future needs. In addition, Accuray's Global Information Services (GIS) is also improving its internal capabilities to support a Next Generation set of tools and processes.

The SAP Program Director will manage all IT projects e.g. Salesforce, QMS, ServiceMax , SAP S/4HANA etc. through the entire project lifecycle in collaboration with Enterprise Applications and Cross-Functional teams. This role will coordinate, prioritize, negotiate, and manage the execution of all assigned tasks and sub-teams related to IT and ERP projects deployments including SAP and non-SAP technologies in scope. You also lead the project planning, project task management, budget tracking, and project status communication. To be a successful candidate for this role, you will demonstrate solid business knowledge, coupled with experience in large-scale SAP program management and the ability to collaborate, influence, and lead adeptly at all levels of an organization.

This Director level role is similar to a high-end consulting role, which requires specialized leadership experience in ERP (SAP) / IT ecosystems in large global environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and review both strategic and tactile plans associated with ERP and other dependent/related systems implementation.
  • Coordinate and implement resources, schedule, structure, WBS, tasks, and internal awareness across a global team working in multiple technology stacks.
  • Perform typical project management activities including: development of project plans and schedules (WBS), task management, resource planning, and communication of status to stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for the creation, organization, execution, and successful completion of specific projects within budget and scope.
  • Create and course-correct plans throughout the project to address issues, mitigate risks, and prioritize on-time successful delivery.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional team members and executives to execute the plan while managing the matrix project team to meet deliverables and milestones, flag potential deviations from the plan, and identify potential actions to get the project back on track.
  • Act as a deliverable owner, champion, and spokesperson, helping establish a positive working atmosphere for the project team.
  • Publish (develop and communicate) the daily, weekly, monthly status reports required for different stakeholders including project, steering committee, project management.
  • Identify risks, escalate, and propose risk mitigation strategies to senior management.
  • Anchor the team to complete program documentation and plan deliverable signoffs.
  • Plan, define, prioritize and control project-specific governance processes, teams, and activities.
  • Manage transition activities to the support organization (Knowledge transfer, Access, Training, etc).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications:

a. Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university
  • Practice CEO Mindset: Integrity and Trust, Customer Focus, Problem Solving, Drive for Results.
  • Deep understanding and experience implementing cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning solutions.
  • Experience with guiding & overseeing high-performing project teams/leaders around large, complex, global initiatives.
  • ERP Program Manager with Consulting mindset and a track record of successful delivery.
  • Ability to collaborate, plan and conduct discussions with Business Groups Highly motivated individual, and a team player who adapts to a dynamic work environment.
  • Proven track record of implementing global S/4HANA solutions (minimum 5,000 users, across multiple geographies (Americas, EMEA, APAC), a strong understanding, and hands-on experience with SAP Activate is required.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills combined with demonstrated team leadership capabilities.
  • Successful track record demonstrating the ability to work within a highly matrixed organization to lead and influence global change; multicultural experience to enable effective working across geographically dispersed teams in a multi-faceted, global company.
  • Strong discipline in financial management and budgets, highly effective critical decision-making skills both on people and in the business, and a thought leader on change and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to effectively communicate deadlines, updates, issues, and accomplishments, concisely, clearly and in ways that motivate others and build team spirit.
  • Results-focused with a track record of consistent achievement.
  • Flexibility to work early and late hours to collaborate with global team members. Some travel is required.


b. Preferred:

  • Master's (MS and/or MBA) degree preferred.
  • SAP Certification preferred.
