Position Summary
This individual contributor role will support disciplined execution of activities related to issue management.
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables that usually requires engagement from multiple teams. Communicates the work objectives, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. Identify and document risks and related mitigation plans as well as validation of evidence to support risk mitigation for all Audit, Compliance/Ops Risk, Regulatory and/or
self-identified risks, issues, and MRAs within defined SLAs.
Ensures execution and delivery meets the expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, and timeline. Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery - e.g., kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings - and to discuss, debate and understand risks, and drafting clear and articulate issue summaries and mitigation plans to be reviewed by senior and executive management .
Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams and to manage a portfolio of risks and issues and understand holistic risks across their assigned area. Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables. Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline. Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule. Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders. Ensures deliverables comply with Bank standards. Identifies and escalates roadblocks and other factors affecting deliverable health. Supports resource planning for delivery/execution.
Required Skills

  • 5+ years of risk management and/or end-to-end Project Management experience
  • Strong Project Management skills, ability to lead a cross-functional team, and drive to results
  • Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must possess analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels of the firm (e.g., senior and executive leaders)
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to guide projects through all phases, ensuring required standards and processes are followed, required documents are completed, and required tracking systems are kept updated
  • Strong acumen to develop and manage to established project plan including any required escalations and resolution of issues
  • A drive to achieve results and desired outcome through formulation of meeting agendas, materials, and follow-on action items
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) proficient


Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with business resiliency processes and concepts, risk management principles, technology change management, and/or audit response and preparation methods
  • Bachelor's degree
