We are currently seeking a Relocation Project Manager with specific experience in move coordination to join our Project and Development Services team. Our team's priorities are:

What this job involves

As a Relocation Project Manager at JLL, you will be responsible for leading and delivering challenging projects. This position will be directly responsible for the outcome of the planning and move process, customer satisfaction, communication, as well as transparency and reconciliation of costs associated with all project activities. You will be focused on the client experience by providing innovative solutions to conflicting priorities. Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to, coordination and execution of small and large moves and changes.

Customer Experience
  • Deliver a superior client experience and drive new business.
  • Develop and maintain Master Relocation Plan to integrate move tasks with the overall project plans.
  • Prepare detailed logistics plans including vendor and equipment coordination and installation.
  • Schedule and conduct move planning team meetings including the preparation of meeting notes, reports, and checklist updates.
  • Develop and maintain a move list spreadsheet for collection, verification, and finalization of all personnel, furnishing, equipment, and miscellaneous content.
  • Act as liaison between client teams and all vendors.
  • Prepare a preliminary move budget, provide status updates on move costs, billable time, and schedule changes.
  • Establish employee communication programs.
  • Prepare, issue, and analyze a detailed RFP for mover services on behalf of the client.
Move Activities
  • Schedule necessary vendors to complete all project-related activities.
  • Operate employee check-out and check-in process.
  • Provide onsite move supervision.
Post Move
  • Provides facility issue tracking and support.
  • Coordinates pick up of crates and equipment.
  • Following projects and incremental moves, update floor plans for accurate reporting
  • Other projects, special assignments, and administrative duties as assigned

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture is preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years of experience with move coordination and planning preferred.
  • Self-starter, willing to work weekends and nights when needed, as well as travel to project locations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team environment.
  • Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.
