Business Description:

Cranial and Spinal Technologies (CST) is redefining cranial and spinal procedures to reduce variability and improve outcomes with the goal of restoring long-term quality of life for more patients. We are the first company to offer an integrated solution that includes artificial intelligence-driven surgical planning, personalized spinal implants, and robotic-assisted surgical delivery to make patient care more customized.

CST is the market leader in spinal implants, robotics, and navigation. Our integrated operating unit is comprised 3 global businesses, Spine and Biologics, Enabling Technologies and China Cranial, Spinal Orthopedic Technologies.

This role will support our Spine and Biologics business.

A Day in the Life:

This is a regionally sponsored development program that provides a pathway to District Sales Manager through a robust training regime. At the successful completion of the training program, the Regional Program Manager will assume leadership of a Spine sales district.

Relocation is expected as part of the acceptance of offer into the program. While district placement is an optimal model, if an opportunity does not exist locally, the Regional Program Manager participant must be open to relocation.

Responisibilities include:

 

  • Individual Contributor focused on leadership development and business unit portfolio knowledge
  • Provides District level support and Sale Rep development
  • Successful completion of Spine portfolio and clinical procedures
  • Successful completion of Professional Development Training
  • Ability to display skills in relationship-selling, partnering and managing accounts.
  • Develops the skills necessary to manage fiscal budgetary responsibilities
  • Acquire the necessary skills for effective asset management.
  • Initiate and evaluate corporate pricing agreements with customers to ensure competitive value of product line.
  • Ability to create business plans and ensure proper execution.
  • Collaborates with existing sales forces to promote, sell and secure orders from existing and potential customers.
  • Implements direct sales and operational plans with measurable impact on function results including target revenue, resource allocation, expenditures and future business opportunities
  • Manages tactical aspects of project and department performance and day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and performance

 

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of medical sales experience; or
  • Advanced degree and a minimum of 2.5 years of medical sales and leadership experience

Nice to Have

  • Ortho, Spine or O.R. experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills within the sales discipline, with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
  • Practical sales, business development and management knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics for one or more products.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Leadership and motivation skills as demonstrated by a record of involvement in team, fraternal or philanthropic organizations-in a leadership role.
  • Goal setting and implementation skills demonstrated by a clear record of accomplishments in prior personal and professional pursuits.
  • Basic computer skills as demonstrated by the ability to navigate in a Windows environment with the ability to send and receive e-mails.
  • Travel is required
