Job Description Are you passionate about modern technologies? Does the idea of moving the data into the Public Cloud and facilitating AI/ML and Analytics services across the firm excite you? Then come and join us. We are building a team focused on firmwide migration of data to the public cloud. You will join the Program Delivery team and work alongside other leaders with experience in delivering complex large-scale initiatives.
This is a Senior Individual contributor role, which will help drive onboarding of data onto JP Morgan's firm-wide Data Management platform, JADE, and adoption of the Public Cloud.
JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) is a leading global financial services firm with assets of $2 trillion and operations in more than 60 countries. JPMC has made a strategic decision to fundamentally transform its operations through the adoption of "public cloud first" approach. The Data Management Program Delivery team is a new group tasked with achieving driving data migration to the cloud in alignment with this vision.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Lines of Business to establish roadmaps for their migration of data to Public Cloud
  • Track progress and completion of migration activities across portfolio
  • Consolidate metrics to communicate benefits and details of migration activities, including volumes of data migrated, and associated shutdown of on-premise infrastructure that was enabled by the activities
  • Partner closely with other corporate functions to ensure any risks and controls that may affect Line of Business migrations are fully understood, with the right engagements in place to promote success
  • Organize required reporting for senior management review sessions

Requirements:
  • Minimum Five years of experience in Program Delivery / Program Management role focused on technology initiatives
  • Demonstrated track record of execution & delivery
  • Ability to work and build effective relationships in a highly matrixed environment, across a wide range of stakeholders with potentially competing priorities
  • Familiarity with Big Data, Analytics, and Public Cloud technologies - or willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Good consensus builder; able to drive large scale transformational initiatives
  • Ability to anticipate needs and take required actions
  • A willingness to help and share knowledge with other team members
  • An insatiable appetite for feedback and constructive criticism
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills, and ability to articulate complex issues concisely
  • Strong work ethic and the utmost attention to detail

Preferred
  • Previous program management experience working for or with a financial institution
