IT Project/Task Manager - Secret Clearance - Wiesbaden Germany
The IT Project Manager is responsible for developing and managing complex projects to include developing and managing customer expectations, deliverables, schedules, time, and scope. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, creating project plans, communication plans, allocating tasks, and setting milestones. This entry-level project management position will require the candidate to obtain a PMP and ITIV v4 certification shortly after hire. The candidate must have an active secret clearance at a minimum.
Job Duties Include:
- Results-focused by successfully and continually communicating expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising results; coaching and counseling team members; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training new team members; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
- Maintains the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing solutions.
- Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with internal teams and external organizations.
- Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
- Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
- Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Contributes to team effort by assisting team members with accomplishing milestone deliverables.
- Information Technology (IT) Project Manager Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Management, Technical Understanding, Analyzing Information, Informing Others, Staffing, Problem Solving, Data Center Management, Developing Budgets, Coordination, Strategic Planning, Quality Management.
- Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned project. Supervises up 15 employees.
Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree with five-plus years of project management experience with an ITSM and PMP certification is desired.
- Five plus years of technical experience with the ability to obtain a PMP and ITIL v4 certification shortly after hire.
- The candidate must have an active secret clearance at a minimum
- Candidate must have a current 8750 IAT II certification at time of hire
