We are currently seeking a Project Program Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

Application Modernization Project Manager

How You'll Help Us:

As an Application Modernization Project Manager, you will manage the digital transformation of the applications companies rely on to serve their customers. Our clients need to have their business transformed to succeed in an increasingly complex and competitive marketplace.

You will help us by being responsible for managing all aspects of projects throughout the project lifecycles - Initiation, Planning, Execution, Control and Closure. Using cutting edge project management methodologies, you will ensure developers are in places to succeed and product owners are thrilled with delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring that requirements for your projects are fulfilled with excellence.

Once You Are Here, You Will:

• Manage the planning, requirements, design, construction, testing, and maintenance of application modernization projects across a wide range of technology platforms
• Work with various mainframe technologies such as IBM ZOS
• Manage engagement scope and client expectations
• Facilitate Scrum teams and daily scrums
• Manage the creation of deliverables defined by the Roadmap, Portfolio Assessment, Business Rules Extraction and Re-Architecture methodologies
• Successful completion of projects, adhering to schedules, budgets and resource availability
• Conduct proactive appraisal of team deliverables
• Develop and foster collaborative working relationships with customers
• Manage teams of developers, assignment and coordination of work activities, and providing feedback for individual career and personal development
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of project delivery methods, techniques, processes, and practices
• Provide management with project status reports based on progress details extracted from the NTT Data Transformation Manager tool suite
• Support business development efforts by participating in sales activities, RFP responses and proposal development, product demonstrations, etc.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of related Project Management experience
• 5+ years of IBM Mainframe experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Able to travel as needed for project assignments (25%-50%) after pandemic when travel returns to normal
