Job Description:
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program. Communicates the work objectives, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. Ensures execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery - e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc. Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams. Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables. Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline. Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule. Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders. Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards. Supports resource planning for delivery/execution. Individual Contributor.

Job Summary:
Manages projects limited in scope to LOB products, processes or functions although some may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications. Serves as secondary contact to senior department managers for critical change initiatives and provides assistance to staff. Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. Accountable for initiatives limited in scope to department products, processes or functions although some may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications. Accountable for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation.
Responsibilities:

  • Serves as secondary contact to senior department managers for critical change initiatives and provides assistance to staff.
  • Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change.
  • Accountable for initiatives limited in scope to department products, processes or functions although some may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications.
  • Accountable for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation.
  • Plans, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion.
  • Develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies.
  • Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed.
  • Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change.
  • Responsible for Clarity and PCM updates and project documents.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.


Required Skills:

  • 3-5 plus years of program management experience preferably in technology financial services
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to drive business outcomes with operational and technological considerations
  • Strong detail orientation and a willingness to synthesize diverse ideas into tangible action plans
  • Insight to identify gaps and execution risks and escalate often
  • Ability to effectively navigate a highly matrixed organization
  • Ability to connect the dots and make sense of information across multiple data points upstream/ downstream that many not be easily noticeable.
  • Program and/or project management experience leading technology efforts using Waterfall and Agile Methodologies within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Ability to challenge technology teams on the commitments, follow up on commitments and hold teams accountable to commitments
  • Manage project financials


Desired Skills:

  • PMP or Project Management Certification preferred or MBA degree preferred
