Description: Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager

Job Description:

This is a Project Manager role working for the Mountain West Region IT Portfolio Management Office. The assignment will be to lead the implementation of a new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for the NV Surgery Center. The project includes the implementation of a new EMR Vendor product and the migration from the existing GE Perioperative platform.

The candidate will not supervise resources directly, but will be required to lead though influence, working with team members from multiple organizations including IT Applications, IT Infrastructure, Surgery Center Operations, and the vendors.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, creation and maintenance of project plans, management of issues, risks and dependencies, facilitation of cross-team collaboration and communication of project status.

Candidate must have 10+ years of IT Project Management experience and experience with a Surgery Center EMR is highly preferred. Must be able to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization while maintaining a confident and friendly demeanor.
