Your Opportunity

As a Project Manager (PM) Owner's Representative for the Projects throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, you will work on various assignments of Redevelopment Assistant Program (RACP) Funding. You will work with our Client, the Commonwealth of PA, local Government Authorities, Developers,Health Care Organizations, Higher Education Agents, along with Construction Team Members, and other Owner Agents. As a PM, you are detail-oriented, organized, dependable, resourceful, and able to perform well under the pressure of deadlines. You will also demonstrate professionalism in all forms of communication and work independently and as part of a team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Perform project management activities as assigned by and in support of Project Manager/Director/Principal
  • Review RACP grant applications
  • Generate grant application review reports
  • Review budget and schedule management
  • Deliver day-to-day project tracking and communication with the client and project team
  • Conduct, prepare, and distribute meeting notes to the project team
  • Develop, track, update, forecast and modify the project schedule and budget throughout all phases of the project
  • Review the required permitting, environmental phase one studies, and historical procedures
  • Review and track all contracts, invoices, and payments to all contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors
  • Review and track bonds and insurances
  • Review for compliancy, PA Prevailing Wage Act requirements, and PA Steel Products Act
  • Conduct project visits during planning and construction
  • Support the preparation of Reports to Owner
  • Assist in plan reviews
  • Review change orders associated with the project

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Strong computer skills and literacy in scheduling, word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software of Microsoft, Procore and E Builder
  • Understanding of and ability to read plans and specifications
  • General understanding of design and construction process and requirements
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Planning, scheduling, and estimating skills
  • Strong computer skills; word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software
  • Ability to read plans and specifications
  • General understanding of design and construction process and requirements
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to support this client facing role
  • Willing to travel 40%-50% during work hours throughout the Commonwealth

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar
  • 3+ years of Project Management or Construction Management experience as an Owner's Representative preferred in the engineering, design and construction field and in the public sector

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
