Project Manager
Q2 is seeking a Technical Project Manager for our Continuous Delivery group based in Austin, TX. In this role you will work in a collaborative, agile/hybrid environment to extend and customize the Q2 Platform to meet the requirements of our ever-growing Financial Institution client base. Responsibilities:
- Partner with clients to understand business requirements and expectations.
- Design and execute project plans and documentation to deploy Q2 solutions.
- Direct project resources to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the client and team to problem solve issues that arise.
- Track status and provide updates in relation to overall implementation process.
- Recognize gaps in the work group’s ability to meet customer needs and deliver on-time projects; take appropriate action to achieve and exceed expectations.
- Work with Solutions Architects and Development to ensure suggested solutions are feasible.
- Act as key liaison and manage expectations of key sponsors and client executive staff related to timing, functionality and back-office requirements needed to support a successful go live.
- Train and educate clients on the product and configuration options.
- Interact with senior Q2 leaders and 3rd parties.
- Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to in interactions with clients, vendors, and peer teams.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- +5 years previous work experience in similar role
- Project Management Methodology exposure preferred (PMP or PMI)
- Agile exposure preferred (CSM or CSPO)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and methodologies
- Experience building documentation and project plans using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience managing expectations and providing creative solutions to priority conflicts for high-profile clients.
- Ability to develop new initiatives and processes that produce higher levels of customer satisfaction while reducing expenses and shortening project durations.
- Ability to organize and execute multi-facet software deployments.
- Capable of assessing project risks and related mitigation steps.
- Ability to convey technical concepts to business-oriented banking project teams and interact with senior technical internal resources.

- Occasional travel to client sites as needed.
- Regular after hour go-live commitments.
- Financial Services and enterprise software experience preferred.
