About the Job:
As a Project Manager at Capco, you will play a key role in the delivery of projects and change initiatives for leading clients across all industries, including but not limited to Gas & Oil, Electric Utilities, Investment Banking, Retail Banking, Wealth and/or Insurance.
A Project Manager will work closely with project teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to resolve conflicts and remove barriers, ensuring deliverables are on-time and meet quality standards. The Project Manager will assist with end-to-end planning, monitor project progress and set deadlines, manage risks and issues, prioritize tasks, drive operational readiness and conduct project meetings.
What You'll Get to Do:

  • Manage cross-functional projects across multiple lines of business on enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Apply a consultative approach to assist with functional, technical, and operational planning and design
  • Manage workstreams (potentially leveraging Agile processes) and partner with clients, technology vendors, and project teams to ensure on-time, and on-budget, quality delivery
  • Develop milestone-level project plans including key timelines, critical path, owners, and dependencies
  • Work with the project team to drive operational readiness activities including communication, training and procedural and reporting updates
  • Be responsible for tracking and driving risks, issues and decisions and ensure that the team can deliver with minimal blockers


What You'll Bring with You:

  • Banking/Financial Services experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience leading program/projects (project planning, project controls/monitoring, budget management, setting and managing customer expectations) utilizing waterfall, iterative and Agile practices and methods
  • Experience leading large, complex projects and ability to lead multiple project teams and projects simultaneously
  • Proven history as a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision and ability to be influence and establish positive working relationships throughout the organization, including senior management
  • The individual must be comfortable working across business and IT domains and possess the ability to shift between technical analysis and business value discussions.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, Confluence, Trello, etc.)
